Biomarine Earns NIOSH/MSHA Certification

Biomarine has been awarded certification by the National Institute for Occupational Health and Safety (NIOSH) for its all-new, state-of-the-art Biomarine BioPak 240 Revolution 4-Hour Rebreather. The NIOSH certification includes an approval to 42CFR Part 84 for the BioPak 240 Revolution’s system as well as the Mine Safety and Health Administration approval to 30CFR Part 18 for the electronic monitoring system.

The BioPak 240 Revolution was developed after exhaustive R&D and focus panel testing with a wide variety of rescue personnel. It is the industry’s most advanced and easiest to use long duration rebreather on the market. With its disposable solid CO2 scrubbers and quick-change coolant systems, the 240 Revolution represents a significant advancement in closed circuit, self-contained breathing apparatus technology in over a decade.

A 6-liter tidal volume delivers the industry’s lowest closed-circuit breathing resistance at all work rates. This makes breathing more comfortable and less stressful. The unit’s large breathing chamber incorporates three springs for guaranteed positive pressure. www.biopak240r.com
