2-D–3-D Data Sharing Software Solutions
Ambercore, a provider of spatial software and services for mining, recently announced significant enhancements to its spatial data sharing and integration software. Ambercore says its spatial data sharing application is designed for organizations that have extensive 2-D and 3-D spatial data in a variety of formats, and in distributed locations. Ambercore brings this data together, allowing multi-user access to large volumes of potentially distributed data. The technology is claimed to provide seamless integration with existing information types including: drill hole, seismic, geological, geophysical, surface, LiDAR, image and infrastructure data. Common data formats such as ESRI, Maplnfo, AutoCad, SegY, LAS, USGS, GeoTiff, and others are supported, as are standard databases such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
