Horizon Conveyor Equipment says its patented Magna-Patch system is a reusable magnetic patch designed to give conveyor operators flexibility in their maintenance schedules by offering quick, secure patch solutions in high-wear situations or during breakdowns. In these situations, according to Horizon, Magna-Patch application can dramatically reduce downtime, labor and material costs that are often encountered by operators. Magna-Patch components are pressure rated up to 60 psi and provide a rapid, secure way of repairing holes in steel pipes, flat back elbows, silos, chutes, hoppers and other steel susceptible to abrasion.
